Got a spring to my step..

Well..so much for posting regularly..!! Very very sorry about that. Let me just tell you, there are lazy people, then there are downright LAZY people...and then there's me, I'm a whole new category of lazyness. But I'll try and tone it down for you and post with more frequency =D

Bueno..ahí va el "voy a tratar de poner posts regularmente"..!! Perdón por eso perdón perdón. Déjame decirte, hay gente floja, luego hay gente de pana que es FLOJA...y luego vengo yo, yo soy otra categoría completamente nueva de flojera. Pero trataré de bajarle dos para ti y postear con más frecuencia =D

So here is a spring outfit I put together..one day I just woke up and said "well, I wanna be colorful today" (yes, this is me being colorful..you do not want to see me depressed..) so I picked this skirt, which I was dying to wear.. First of all..I bought it at a sort of mega garage sale that goes on in my city every month..so it was uber cheap..secondly, it fits like a glove so YAY (though I think it isn't supposed to be high waisted but what the heck)..and third and most importantly.....it....has..POCKETS. You cannot go wrong with a skirt that has pockets, my dear. It's a sort of floral print but in a watercolor style, really neat. The only bad thing about it is the very lightweight fabric. It's kinda windy here, so I have to walk with my hands pressed to my butt and my front, as if I wanted to pee all the time if I don't want to go showing my privates to everyone..now that's a nice mental image I left you with =) Basically, that's not my preffered way of walking, so I don't wear this skirt that often.

The huge eagle necklace has very quickly become my favorite jewelry item. When I bought it I wasn't quite sure what to pair it with, because, as I said..the thing is HUGE. And I'm just getting into that "let's wear this humongous crap around my neck" fashion trend, so I had my doubts..thought I was never going to wear it, actually. But then I got the hang of it and it got easier. Now..it is my baby. 

Wanna know the secret?? Use it only with monocromatic shirts. BAM, just solved your life's problems. You're welcome. 

Entonces aquí está un conjunto de primavera que combiné..un día me levanté y dije "bueno, hoy quiero estar colorida" (sí, esta soy yo siendo colorida..no me quieres ver deprimida..) así que escogí esta falda, la cual me estaba muriendo por ponerme.. Primero que nada..la compré en una especie de mega venta de garaje que se hace aquí en mi ciudad una vez al mes..así que me salíó súper barata..segundo, me queda como un guante (como un guante a la mano..como la mano al guante?? No sé, como sea el dicho en español, ustedes me entienden) así que YAY (aunque no creo que vaya a la cintura pero qué carrizo)..y tercero y más importante.....tiene....BOLSILLOS. No puedes ir mal con una falda que tenga bolsillos, querida. Tiene como un estampado de flores, pero con un estilo de acuarela, bien chévere. La única cosa mala que le consigo es la tela ligera. Hace más o menos viento aquí, entonces tengo que caminar con las manos pegadas a mi trasero y al frente, como si tuviera ganas de hacer pipí todo el tiempo si no quiero andarle mostrando mis partes privadas a todo el mundo..ahora esa es una linda imagen mental que te dejé =) Básicamente, esa no es mi manera preferida de caminar, así que no me pongo la falda muy a menudo.

El collar enorme rápidamente se ha convertido en mi pieza de joyería favorita. Cuando lo compré no estaba muy segura con qué combinarlo, porque, como ya dije..la cosa es ENORME. Y apenas me estoy metiendo en esa onda de "vamos a ponernos esta vaina inmensamente gigante alrededor de mi cuello", así que tenía mis dudas..pensé que nunca me la iba a poner, en realidad. Pero luego le agarré el truco y se volvió más fácil. Ahora..es mi bebé.

¿Quieres saber el truco? Siempre úsalo con camisas monocromáticas. BAM, te resolví la vida. De nada.
