Hola pequeño buñuelo!! Tengo para ti un DIY (hazlo tú mismo - do it yourself) librito de cuento que le hice a mi amiga para su cumpleaños ayer. saqué la idea de Pinterest (como siempre lo hacemos todos. Dios Pinterest!) Entonces quería hacer algo que de verdad tuviera valor pero al mismo tiempo no tan valoroso, tipo gastarme-todo-mi-dinero-y-quedarme-pobre valoroso. Quería que fuera algo decentico..pero también algo a lo que ella pudiera decir "aayyyy". Así que un sobresito/librito de historia hecho en casa parecía la opción perfecta!!
First, I gathered all the materials
1. A drawing pad or any thick piece of paper will do - Un block de dibujo o cualquier cartulina
2. Markers, thick and thin - Marcadores, gruesos y finos
3. Staple - Engrapadora
4. Pencil, eraser, white, silver and gold permanent markers - Lápiz, borrador, marcadores blanco, plateado y dorado
5. Scissors - Tijeras
6. Ruler - Regla
7. Hot glue gun and liquid glue - Pistola de silicón y pega blanca
8. 2 buttons and any colored string - Dos botones e hilo semi grueso de cualquier color
9. A thick but foldable paperish material that will be the outside of your book, I just cut it in the shape of an envelope - Un material tipo papel grueso pero doblable que será la parte de afuera de tu librito, yo simplemente lo corte con forma de sobre
First of all, find what you want to write on the book and take note on how many pages you'll need. Then, you draw the size and shape you want your pages to be. Mine were 10cm x 7.2cm each - Primero, encuentra lo que quieras escribir en el librito y anota cuántas páginas vas a necesitar. Luego trazas el tamaño y la forma de tus paginitas. Las mías eran de 10cm x 7.2 cada una.
Then, cut every two pages until you have the desired amount - Luego, corta cada dos paginas hasta que tengas la cantidad deseada.
Staple the pages in the middle so it looks like a tiny booklet, and write and draw whatever you want - Engrapa las páginas en el medio para que parezca una mini libreta, y escribe y dibuja lo que quieras.
Go over all the pencil lines with a fine black marker and erase the pencil marks afterwards - Repasa todas las líneas de lápiz con un marcador negro punta fina y borra las marcas de lápiz después.
Give your book some color (use whatever you want..I just thought markers were easier) - Dale a tu librito un poco de color (usa lo que quieras..yo pensé que con marcadores era más fácil).
With the liquid/white glue, stick the first and last page of your storybook to the cover. Then, with the white, silver and gold permanent markers, dedicate and decorate - Con la pega líquida/blanca, pega la primera y la última página a la portada. Luego, con los marcadores permanentes blanco, plateado y dorado, dedica y decora.
With the hot glue gun, make a dot of glue on the envelope and stick one end of the string, then put another dot and place the button over the string (try to make sure the button is not touching the paper, let it sit gently on top of the glue, that way the string can go around it nicely). Now just glue the other button on the other side and voilá!! - Con la pistola de silicón, haz un punto de silicón en el sobre y pégale una punta del hilo, luego pon otro punto encima y pon el botón sobre el hilo (trata de asegurarte que el botón no esté tocando la cartulina, déjalo caer suavemente sobre el silicón, así el hilo va a poder darle la vuelta.) Ahora solo pega el otro botón del otro lado y voilá!!
Now just decorate the front of it and PRESTO!! Your envelope/cute storybook is done. Have fun making it, and tell me what you think!!
