Heartful Spring | DIY

Well actually it's sort of always spring/summer where I live but you get my drift.. Hello you sexy person, yesterday I was quite bored and in the mood for a nail change so I did these. The design is mine but the inspiration is from (of course)..Pinterest. I decided from now on I would post all my new nails here on my blog so you can see and recreate them..!! So, leeeet's get it starteed...in heeeeeeeeeeeeeeere (you sang that out loud don't lie).

Bueno en realidad más o menos siempre es primavera/verano donde vivo, pero tú me entiendes.. Hola persona sexy, ayer estaba bastante aburrida y en necesidad de una nueva pintada de uñas así que me hice estas. El diseño es mío pero la inspiración es de (por supuesto)..Pinterest. Decidí que de ahora en adelante voy a poner todas mis uñas nuevas aquí en mi blog para que las puedas ver y recrear..!! Entonces, leeeet's get it starteed...in heeeeeeeeeeeeeeere (cantaste eso en voz alta no mientas).

You will need:

- Nail polish remover - Acetona

- Scissors, paper and tape - Tijeras, papel y cinta adhesiva

- A sponge (it can be a damp makeup one or dishwashing one) - Una esponja (puede ser una de maquillaje que esté húmeda o de lavar platos)

- A nailart marker or a very thin brush with black polish - Un marcador de uñas o un pincel finito y pintura negra

- A Qtip - Un hisopo

- Colors: Top coat, white, 4 pastels - Colores: Brillo transparente, blanco, 4 pasteles.

Ok so first paint all your nails white. Put two or even three coats just to be sure, and leave it DRY. If you don't you'll ruin them and not want to go on living.

Ok, primero píntate todas las uñas de blanco. Pinta dos o hasta tres capas por si acaso, y deja que se SEQUEN. Si no las vas a arruinar y no vas a querer seguir viviendo.

TIP: If you smudge a nail, try licking your finger and softly rubbing your nail with your saliva to smooth it out..it sounds disgusting but it totally works. 

Si te dañas una uña, prueba lamerte el dedo y gentilmente pasarlo por la uña con tu saliva para aplanarlo..suena asqueroso pero te lo juro que sirve.

Grab a square of tape a bit bigger than your nail and fold it in half, cut out half of a heart and unfold (save the little cutout, you're gonna use it), then stick the tape on your nail. Paint two stripes of different shades on the sponge and dab it a few times on the paper to remove the excess polish. Now pat on the nail from side to side. Then for the thumb and the ring finger stick on the little heart cutout. On the sponge, paint on the other two colors too and do the same as before.

 Agarra un cuadrito de cinta adhesiva un poco más grande que tu uña y dóblala por la mitad, corta la mitad de un corazón y desdóblala (guarda el corazoncito recortado, lo vas a usar), luego pega el pedazo de teipe a tu uña. Pinta dos franjas de diferentes colores en la esponja y estámpalo unas dos veces sobre el papel para quitar el exceso de pintura. Ahora presiona varias veces la esponja sobre la uña de lado a lado. Luego para el pulgar y el dedo anular pega el recorte del corazoncito. En la esponja, pinta los otros dos colores también y haz lo mismo que antes.

TIP: Leave the thumb and ring finger for last. /  Deja el pulgar y el dedo anular de últimos.

Clean off your cuticles with a Qtip and nail polish remover. Put on your top coat and you're done..!!

Limpia tus cutículas con un hisopo y acetona. Ponte tu brillo encima y estás lista..!!
